IS GOD TRYING TO GET OUR ATTENTION?

or weeks, we have been searching for a solution to the coronavirus. With the best minds in the field of medicine and science diligently at work, we are yet to find a cure for this deadly virus.

But could there be an answer we have overlooked? Or only thought about briefly?

Consider a possible solution clearly given to us in the Word of God. Think about these words from the One who has created all things:

“‘My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts’” (Isa. 55:8-9).

We have a God to turn to, and He does not lie. This is the God about whom the Holy Scripture declares, “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all” (Psalm 103:19).

That means He is in control of all things at all times. You may not believe He is in control, because some things that have happened have been so difficult and painful.

But our lack of understanding does not mean that God is unaware or doesn’t care about what is going on. He does not promise that we will always understand His ways.
