Those who have had heart surgery often talk of feeling younger and more energetic after the surgery. Their blood flows better, more oxygen to their system, they feel brand new. Spiritually speaking, we get a new heart when we come to the Lord. We are new creatures in Christ. The old man is dead. But sometimes that old man tries to come back to life. Paul addressed that very issue in the book of Romans, and that is our subject for today.
