Sometimes it's easiest to see our human idiosyncrasies in other people. Take a toddler, for instance. The little one may be despairing over the toy or the cookie they can't have, until daddy walks through the door, home from work. Suddenly, their focus changes and their little world is all about dad. Pastor Greg Laurie points out, when our love and focus is on our Heavenly Father, we won't despair for the things of this world.
