Once Upon a Time, There Was No Woke Snow White...

Disney has a new live action version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs hitting theaters—a woke Snow White. This is Disney’s latest attempt to remake a classic, and let’s just say that they’ve lost the point. And it didn’t help that the lead actress, Rachel Zegler, torched the original film in interviews before the cameras even started rolling. Rachel Zegler’s Controversial Snow White Comments She Dismissed the 1937 animated classic as “extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power and what a woman is fit for." And she added, “there is a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird, weird.”
