Lessons From Peter - A Supernatural Life

As persecution and adversity increased, the Apostle Peter courageously stood firm and led others through the opposition. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Peter and his influence on the early Church and the foundations of our faith. As he walks through the latter chapters of the book of Acts, Pastor Allen offers insight on the stoning of Steven, Peter’s vision that led to Gentiles being welcomed into the church, the exemplary judgment of Ananias and Sapphira, Peter’s imprisonment and the angels that miraculously rescued him, and more. The "After Party"

Jesus gave His followers some instructions before His ascension into Heaven, and part of His message was to prepare for hardship ahead. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses participating in Jesus’ suffering. He teaches from the Gospels and Apostle Peter and Paul’s letters to demonstrate that following Jesus doesn’t guarantee peace—in fact, Jesus tells us His name will bring division. Pastor Allen also shares why we should rejoice when we suffer, and why we don’t need to be ashamed. We've been invited to participate in the sufferings of our Lord, so let’s have the courage to be identified with Him every step of the way.

Jesus Changes Everything

We serve God best when we have more confidence in Him than the things that frighten us. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the despair and hopelessness Jesus’ friends experienced on Easter, how they overcame that discouragement—and how we can, too. Apostles Thomas and Peter both stumbled in their faith after years of walking with Jesus, but He didn’t let them sit in their shame. Pastor Allen shows how Jesus took His friends’ burdens and replaced them with hope and courage, and he invites us to the same relationship with our Savior. The Church in the earth needs to be reawakened to the holiness of God, and that begins with us deciding to honor Him with our lives.

Opportunities Lost - Part 2

Just like all those involved in the Easter story, we’ve been given the opportunity to participate with Jesus in His Kingdom. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses four characters involved with Jesus’ trial and crucifixion who missed the invitation to a better future: the high priest Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate, Judas Iscariot, and the Roman soldiers. They all believed something else, like money, power, or status, was more important than God’s invitation. We have the same choice to make. Will we be deceived by the world, or will we have the courage to answer Jesus’ call on our lives?

The Challenge of Belief - Part 2

Even though Jesus told his followers exactly what was going to happen, they were still shocked to find His tomb empty on Easter morning. What are we misinterpreting about events in the earth today? In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the disciples’ misunderstanding at Jesus’ empty grave, the confusion present in the Church today, and three truths we can rely on when things get disorienting. He shares these foundational ideas: Jesus is unique, the grace and mercy of the gospel lead us to repentance, and we have been forgiven. Our culture is becoming increasingly deceptive, but God is moving like never before—and we can trust in Him!
