God's Authority In The World - Part 1

Jesus offers us physical and spiritual healing—but we need to believe Him and be willing to ask for His help. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson talks about the reality of Jesus’ authority in the world and in the lives of His people. When we accept Jesus as Lord of our lives, we gain eternal life, and we are also given the authority to minister to the people around us in His name. Our prayers invite God’s supernatural intervention into a situation, and when we pray, we can trust God with the outcome. Through Jesus, we can be free from fear, bitterness, and other destructive emotions. Pastor Allen offers step-by-step instructions on how we can help the people around us find healing and freedom through Christ.

Let's Do Difficult - I Am Sending You! - Part 2

To live out our faith in today’s world, we need to cultivate greater tenacity, diligence, and boldness. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson invites us into training. Instead of passively “trying” to follow God, it’s time to pursue Him like someone who is training for a race. With this approach, difficulties won’t stop us. Instead, they will lead to new skills, new strength, and new nimbleness as our faith and understanding of God grows. Pastor Allen explains the difference between a transactional faith (saying a prayer and then living life however we desire) and embracing a transformational faith—one that can bring freedom to every area of our lives as we grow in our understanding of God and our relationship with Him.

Let's Do Difficult - Hatred of God's People

As evil wages war against the people of God, it’s time to do difficult things and stand firm in our faith. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the attacks against the Jewish people in Israel. He recently traveled to the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C., where he watched tragic videos of the October 7th attacks. The horror of that day was fueled by the same spirit that hates God and His people—the spirit of Antichrist—and Pastor Allen offers evidence of this antisemitic spirit at work throughout history. Knowing history will help us anticipate what's ahead, motivating us to grow our faith so we can we endure the increasing resistance to God, His truth, and His people.

Big Trouble Ahead - The Effort of Awakening

You have to think about Jesus and what He did for you, or you’ll grow tired of standing and lose heart. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson offers insight from the lives of Josiah, Gideon, and Jesus’ disciples, showing how following God during a time of awakening can also come with harsh opposition. We can be strengthened for the challenges we face by studying their lives, their reactions to the Lord, and their willingness to follow God, even when it leads to adversity. When God moves, He may give us difficult assignments, and this sermon encourages us to boldly persevere.
