Funerals Worth Remembering - Back From the Dead - Part 1

Being a Christian means being raised from death to life, and that’s something to celebrate! In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses our new life in Christ and what that means for our daily behaviors and attitudes. He teaches from the New Testament to illustrate the hope, joy, and enthusiasm we can find in our faith. Following Jesus should be transformational—our thoughts, desires, and behaviors change as we receive new life from our Lord. Pastor Allen shares about dying to sin and being obedient to God, using our skills and time generously for His Kingdom. There’s nothing casual about resurrection—and we’re back from the dead!

Let's Do Difficult - I Am Sending You! - Part 2

To live out our faith in today’s world, we need to cultivate greater tenacity, diligence, and boldness. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson invites us into training. Instead of passively “trying” to follow God, it’s time to pursue Him like someone who is training for a race. With this approach, difficulties won’t stop us. Instead, they will lead to new skills, new strength, and new nimbleness as our faith and understanding of God grows. Pastor Allen explains the difference between a transactional faith (saying a prayer and then living life however we desire) and embracing a transformational faith—one that can bring freedom to every area of our lives as we grow in our understanding of God and our relationship with Him.

Supporting Israel—How Far Is Too Far? - Part 2

Understanding the conflict between Israel and Iran requires us to look at it from a biblical perspective—not a geopolitical one. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the current struggle between Israel and Iran, and what the Bible has to say about it. He offers insight on the history of the Middle East and the nation of Israel, illuminating the pattern of antisemitism we’ve watched for millennia. He also shares how we can respond to God shaking the earth. God will keep His covenant with His chosen people, and as Christ-followers, we need a deeper level of understanding of the significance of Israel and the Jewish people. God promises to bless those who bless Israel, so let’s continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
