Joel's prophecy of judgment to Israel and to the nations is still a challenge from God to the ungodly. God promises destruction to those who harm His people. When God brings His judgement on the nations He will separate His people from the self-righteous. The wrath of God was satisfied by Christ at the cross for all those who repent and believe. Those who do not' repent will one day take full force of God's judgement on themselves.
