We often hear the world's version of wise sayings about money. A good example is, Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want to impress people they don't like. But why not go right to the source? The Bible is always right on the money. So today, our host, Kingdom Advisors President Rob West, shares a few timeless verses straight from Gods Word about your finances. With more than 2,300 verses about money and possessions mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments, I think it's safe to say Gods Word covers it all. Matthew 6:24: No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Hebrews 13:5, which says Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 8:18: You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may confirm his covenant that He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Proverbs 13:11: Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. No better place to look than the 10 Commandments, Exodus 20:17 to be exact: You shall not covet your neighbors house; you shall not covet your neighbors wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor. In today's show we also answer your questions: What can you tell me about The Public Loan Forgiveness program? I'd like more information about contacting my auto lenders about rate reduction.
