When asked to lend money, it can be a difficult decision with potential consequences for the relationship. Fortunately, God's Word provides guidance on how to handle this situation. We should help those in need, but consider carefully why they asked to borrow in the first place. We should also think about whether the borrower can repay the loan, and if lending the money will actually help them. If you do decide to lend the money, draw up a written agreement and make preserving the relationship your priority.
