It's time to take a closer look at our giving habits and how they honor God. Christian generosity is different from the world's idea of generosity, as it is not about showing off or improving our self-esteem. We imitate Jesus when we are radically, sacrificially, and joyfully generous. Sometimes the action needs to precede the feeling, so even if we don't feel joyful about giving, we should keep doing it anyway. We should cultivate a biblical attitude about our giving, which should be secret, open-handed, cheerful, loving, and sacrificial.
