They are also joined by Jody and Linda Dillow, the board members of the safe house which rescued Jessa, whom they adopted as a young adult. At first, Jessa, having been abused by countless men, had difficulty trusting Jody as a father figure. But over time, she learned to trust him as he faithfully mirrored her Heavenly Father's love.
