Beyond Black Hawk Down - I

Philippians 4:7 says, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. It’s one thing to read these words of the Bible, but another to believe them in the midst of war and facing imminent death. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Dr. James Dobson talks with retired Major and Chaplain, Jeff Struecker about his 22-year career in the U. S. Army. You’ll hear of Jeff’s first encounter with Jesus, through the intentional outreach of his neighbors, and how God then led him to fight bravely for this country. On this special Memorial Day program, Chaplain Struecker gives God all the glory for the supernatural peace he experienced on the battlefields as a survivor of Black Hawk Down.

The Toxic War on Masculinity - I

Today on Family Talk, Roger Marsh discusses with Nancy how this deep-seated personal search for truth set her feet upon a path that would lead her to research that not only proves Christianity is true, but that without it, our society spirals out of control. They also discuss Nancy’s latest book, The Toxic War on Masculinity, and the origins of culture’s warped view of men.
