Mark Jobe

He's both a pastor and a president. Mark Jobe, President of the Moody Bible Institute, talks with Wayne Shepherd about his dual calling as both a pastor and the leader of a Bible College. Dr. Mark Jobe serves as Moody Bible Institute's 10th president, taking office on Jan. 2, 2019. He and his wife, Dee, have been married 32 years and have three adult children, Marissa, Josiah, and Grant. The Jobes currently reside in Chicagoland area where they are active members of New Life Community Church, a nondenominational, multisite church where Dr. Jobe has served as senior pastor since 1986. Mark is the Bible teacher on the program Bold Steps, with Wayne Shepherd as co-host.

A workplace mass shooting caused a crisis in Wayne's life and he gave his life to Christ after years of inner struggle. Today, he is the founder of a workplace ministry called Work In the Light, helping people see their work as a God-honoring calling to serve Him and others. Currently, he serves as FEBC-USA’s liaison for international ministries while continuing to work with the leadership of FEBC's outreach to ethnic minority language people groups in Southeast Asia.
