When the Macintosh computer came out nearly 40 years ago, Apple had a simple strategy to revolutionize the industry. As one consultant put it, Apple wanted to make Mac so unique and innovative that [people] would be romanced into using it. Now, to be frank, some church leaders have been following the Macintosh approach for decades . . . romancing unbelievers with an easy, non-threatening theology. But how does that approach align with Scripture?
