Kathy (80) and her husband have some issues. They have been married 59 years. Her husband ignores any kind of conflict in their relationship by giving her the silent treatment. She grew up with a lot of rejection in her life and suffers with nightmares and panic attacks.She says the Bible tells her to be longsuffering but she feels stuck. She wants to know how to communicate better with her husband.
Sue (70) is calling with an anger issue. She says she is triggered lately to think about incidents from all of her life, but mostly about her mother. Her mother was verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive. She thought she had dealt with those before and has asked God for help.
Paul (36) struggled all of his life with a sexual addiction. He says that he had a "Damascus Road experience" in which Jesus spoke to him and told him he needed to come out of that addiction and led Paul by the hand. He now wants advice about getting whole and walking in holiness
Melissa gave up a child (now 34) for adoption when he was born. He found her and they reunited 10 years ago. SHe says their relationship is struggling and not turning out the way she expected. He has never shown any emotion for her and only communicates when he needs something. She wants to know how to get closer to him
Dee is following up on her earlier call to discuss her grieving process and explore God's purpose for her now that her husband has passed away. Although she isn't ready to consider singleness, she expresses interest in mentoring a group of women who have been supportive and helpful to her. June shares Psalm 138:8 with Dee to offer comfort and encouragement during this time.
