Sharon has been in a bad season of life. Her family is almost all gone, including a missing husband she lost years ago. She feels abandoned and cannot wait for darkness to come so she can sleep. Sharon has a hard time believing God loves her and she does not feel like she belongs anywhere.
Sarah has been married for almost 3 years. She left her husband due to verbal abuse, isolation, and control. She says she did see signs before they got married, but wanted to overlook those and try to help him. She has recently moved back because he found out when she left that he does not have long to live. She is wrestling with the question, "Should I reconcile or get a divorce?" June and Sarah discuss setting boundaries.
Caller Cheri returns to talk about false guilt, and the people who have caused it in her life.
Caller Susan returns to talk about how to address the information that her sister shared about her father. A couple of years ago, her sister shared that a cousin had accused Susan's father of sexual abuse. At the time, Susan's father was living with Susan's family. Her father is unaware of the accusations, and no longer lives with her. She wants to know whether to, or how to, address this accusation with her father and/or the rest of the family.
Cheri has been "waiting to die" since her marriage failed in 2006. She says she is trying to recover from hoarding without developing an eating disorder. When she was in 4th grade, her older brother started having sex with her. In 5th grade, her father started fondling her, begging for sex until she was 22 y. o. She has been married 3 times and has always chosen controlling men. She feels that every man she has known has betrayed her. Cheri feels that what she really needs is forgiveness for her father and mother.
