It Is Best to Rest, Part 3
As God unfurled His creation, things seemed to only get grander. With each passing day, God amplified the beauty of His masterpiece. On the fifth day, He created animals. On the sixth day He created His image-bearers--humankind. And on the seventh day, He rested. Although this choice may feel anticlimactic, rest is essential to God’s nature, and He invites His children to rest with Him.
