MoneyWise

Christian talk radio with Rob West

October 6, 2018

Today on Money Wise, Steve Moore and Rob West speak about whether husbands and wives should have separate checking accounts and finances. They also talk about the Biblical principle of becoming one and what that looks like in finances. Next, they answer your questions at (800) 525-7000 and [email protected] about the following: -I had a job where I had a 401K. When I left the job I used the money from the 401K to pay off my moms funeral. I received a settlement from work and I paid off my student loans. They job I have now does not have a 401K program. Where can I build this money back up? -My husband and I sold our home and we paid off our credit card debt. We were presented with an opportunity to buy a resort. The owners are asking for a down payment. Should we use money from our 401K for this? -I got into a variable annuity 14 years ago. In doing that, I didnt understand it. It has gone up. They also manage a couple IRAs for me. I would like to simplify it. Advice?
