Amy Speropoulos, The Communications and Development Manager for The Salvation Army of Memphis and The Mid-South, is joined by Lt. Col. Danny Morrow. He is one of many people who has dedicated his life to serve other people through TSA.
The Salvation Army of Memphis and the Midsouth started 125 years ago by 5 churches in Memphis who donated 500 dollars, that was in the 1900’s and today we stand tall as a beacon of hope, inspiration, and encouragement. We come alongside men, women, and children to help break the chains of poverty, homelessness, and generational poverty. We know to heal Memphis it will take an Army, will you join us and be a part of HIS ARMY and our ARMY, at the Salvation Army, where salvation is free and has an eternal impact!

These ladies are both Sallie Award winners, both with the Advisory Board in Memphis, both volunteers, supporters, and long time cheerleaders for TSA, and share how they began working at TSA and their love for what they do to fulfill their mission.

They are, Lt. Roslyn Morrison with The Purdue Center of Hope Corps, Harriet Goshorn, the Current President of our Women’s Auxiliary, and Judy Lynn who dedicated nearly 20 years of her life to helping people at the ARC.

Dwan started volunteering with TSA of Memphis and now works with them, and Amelia from the Junior League of Memphis, which is an amazing partner to TSA.

Jonathan is also the Civic Service advisor of the GPS (Give, Pray, Serve) Squad at MUS. Listen as he shares how the students in the GPS Squad have been transformed by serving at The Salvation Army.
