Pastor Hanna Massad is a former pastor of Gaza Baptist Church and leader of Christian Mission to Gaza. Despite facing intense Christian persecution, he considers it an honor and privilege to serve the Lord. He shares his story of coming to faith in Christ and the challenges of church ministry in such a setting. He also remembers his martyred friend, Rami Ayyad, who worked for the Bible Society and was kidnapped and killed. Last year, we met Rami's widow, Pauline, and heard her journey from deep grief and anger to forgiving Rami's persecutors. Hanna reminds us that the most important thing in life is to carry the Holy Spirit's presence wherever we go.
