Richard and Jeanette, an American couple, had been serving in China for 10 years when police came to their door. Richard was interrogated at the police station and Jeanette was ministered to by their local church pastor and other Christian friends. Richard was repeatedly called back to the police station and Jeanette watched him closely for signs of beatings or torture. The police mocked Richard for following Jesus and asked why he would give up family, jobs, money and success to end up in a police station. Richard and Jeanette were eventually allowed to leave China but were not allowed to return. They share their story of persecution and suffering, and how they are thankful for the fruit they have seen in their lives and family. They also help listeners pray for Christians in China who are enduring persecution without the opportunity to leave the country.
