Starting in high school, Matt drank too much. He went to law school after college, where he met Kay. Before they married in his senior year, he enlisted in the Marines. He went to Vietnam and survived. Afterward, he practiced as a lawyer. Seven years into their marriage, he had an affair with his secretary who became pregnant. She kept the baby, which Matt supported. He told Kay, and she went to a neighbor for comfort, who led her to Christ. Then Matt and their children got saved.
