OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 30, 2008 — An influential Christian radio program, respected in St. Louis and worldwide, is returning to the airwaves. “Issues, Etc.” begins broadcasting today, Monday, June 30th, from 4-5 p.m. CST, weekdays on Bott Radio Network, 1320 AM in St. Louis, and online at www.issuesetc.org. The program will also be made available for on-demand listeners to download the show.
“Issues, Etc.” was syndicated weekly on more than 100 stations nationwide, and heard during drive-time weekdays in St. Louis for many years. It was also carried worldwide live and on-demand on the Internet. “Issues, Etc.” brought a thoughtful, Biblical perspective to the issues of the day. The cancellation of the program earlier this year disappointed thousands of listeners around the world, and generated significant news coverage, including articles in The Wall Street Journal, World magazine, National Review Online, First Things Online, Chronicles magazine and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
“We are delighted to provide a platform for the continuation and expansion of ‘Issues, Etc.,’” said Rich Bott, Executive Vice President of Bott Radio Network. “We are confident this important, high-quality program will once again extend a positive influence far beyond its original home in St. Louis.”
Founded in 1962, Bott Radio Network currently broadcasts its format of Quality Bible Teaching, Christian News and Information on 80 outlets in ten states, with a combined coverage area of nearly 40 million people. BRN is also heard nationwide over the SkyAngel IPTV Channel 202, and worldwide via the Internet at www.bottradionetwork.com.
