Episode 11 - John 3:12-21 In this episode, we discuss John 3:12-21. Jesus tells Nicodemus that he must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. He explains that the Spirit of God gives life and that those who believe in Jesus will have eternal life. He also warns Nicodemus that those who do not believe will be condemned. Episode 10 - John 2:13-25 After this, Jesus went down to Capernaum with his mother, brothers, and disciples, and they stayed there for a few days. Nearby was the Passover Festival of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So Jesus made a whip out of cords and drove them all out of the temple courts, both the sheep and the cattle. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. He said to those who were selling the doves, “Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” At this, the Jewish leaders asked him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” The Jewish leaders replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build

In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. He said to those who were selling the doves, “Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it is written in the Scriptures, “My love for your house, O Lord, burns intensely.” Then the Jewish leaders demanded to know, “What are you doing? If you can do such miracles, show us a miraculous sign to prove your authority to do all this.” Jesus replied, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jewish leaders replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you can rebuild it in three days?” But the temple Jesus was speaking about was his

Episode 8 - John 2:1-12 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people

Seeing is Believing? It's a phrase we've all heard before, but what does it really mean? It implies that we need to see something with our own eyes in order to believe it. But is that really true? Can we not believe something without seeing it?
